The Black Circle Secret Society—with shipping centers located in the United Kingdom and United States—is a small creative project brought into existence by passion and compassion for the arts, adventures in nature and each other.
Why a “secret” society? ‘Cause it’s fun to say and type. That’s it. Don’t read into it. We see you smiling.
Back story: An artist in London and a print designer in Oregon fell in love with each other, as well as shared viewpoints and perspectives on life. Gosia and Aaron challenge each other, learn from each other, push each other, embrace each other.
We are a team of two imaginative folks separated by over 4,000 miles, yet connected by the truest love and borderless creativity.
We are on a never-ending path to learn and grow, from each other, and from others around us. By finding and using our combined inspiration as a medium to channel our ideas, our values and intentions are woven into a web of meaningful visual work. And, there’s so much work to do… between the two of us and together with all of you.
Via the illustrations, designs and ideas shared within this space, we hope to curate our collective vision on:
• The beauty of all adventure
• The strength in perseverance and effort
• The cultivation of a strong creative work ethic
• The appreciation for emotionally-driven output
• The dedication to human and animal life on earth
• The stoke while traversing earth by bicycle or on foot
• The addressing and challenging of existing social prejudices
• The embracing of change we want to make in helping save our natural world
An important goal of ours is to bring like-minded folks together and manifest the qualities we all stand for, in a positive way, with inclusivity and tact. Preaching, blame and finger-pointing serve no purpose, and so none shall occur here.
Gosia and Aaron invite you to the Black Circle Secret Society, dare to let the secret out. Whisper, wink, connect, high five, wave banners, and then yawp from the highest mountain top.
All the artwork is created by us and, with an environmental impact in mind, we aim to use recycled, eco-friendly and fair-trade materials as well as packaging. We support and work with other independent makers and small businesses. If you believe we can do better, please let us know. We—like all—can always do better, act with more care, and learn from each other. Those, dear friends, are secrets worth sharing.
Gosia Black & Aaron D.C. Edge,
Black Circle Secret Society
